The wonderful Bob-o-Link has now arrived in other regions: Caparao and Espirito Santo.
When I first asked Felipe why he went there to continue his project, he said:
“It makes perfect sense, I have given my clients the chocolaty profile of our region, and I wanted to give them something fruitier. Some unusual notes they are less used to receiving from me.”
In addition to this, he has begun to develop some new concepts, such as Full Farm Profitability.
But it’s a bit like a cake: Bob-o-Link is at the heart of the cake and the microlots are the cherries, but we still need to find a base. We lacked some 80+ coffees. And now we think we have found them. This will improve the revenue of farmers by allowing them to be included in the Mountain range, which includes regional rather than micro-regional coffees. There is also Mirim, which in Tupi language means “small”, for the 14 Up screens, which can nonetheless be clean and 80+.
The FAF project is particularly exciting, and it looks like things might even improve in the coming years!
